Hi, I’m Ashley Strehle Hartman.
I like to write and I’d like to write for you.
I have a degree in media production-print journalism from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska and experience in journalism, marketing, advertising and public relations. I’ve written for newspapers, advertising agencies, educational publishers, universities, government agencies, health care organizations and nonprofits.
For the past several years, I’ve been working as a freelance writer and editor. In this capacity, I’ve:
- Done marketing and communications work for Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Nebraska and Bryan Health in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- Written freelance columns for the Omaha World-Herald’s nightlife and parenting sections.
- Written three nonfiction children’s books for the book developer Red Line Editorial.
- Co-wrote and edited Hometown Health Care: The History of Columbus Community Hospital, a pictorial history of Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Nebraska.
I can write and edit newsletters, craft newspaper and radio ads, upgrade your website, give your social media posts a boost, and deliver articles on a tight deadline.
But don’t just take my word for it. Here are some thoughts from my freelance writing and editing clients: “I’ve worked with Ashley on a variety of freelance writing and editing projects, as well as marketing projects. I’ve always found her to be professional, reliable and easy to work with.” – Amy Blaser, MBA, Vice President Physician Relations/Business Development, Columbus Community Hospital
