Two non-fiction books I wrote as a freelance writer for Red Line Editorial will be released this fall.
My Entertainment Robots book is part of a six-part Robot Innovations series published by North Star Editions. It will be available in September 2018.
Here’s an overview of the book: Some robots can dance, perform acrobatic stunts, and even have conversations with their owners. Entertainment Robots introduces readers to examples of these robots, the challenges faced by their designers, and the advances that are on the horizon. Easy-to-read text, vivid images, and helpful back matter give readers a clear look at this subject. Features include a table of contents, infographics, a glossary, additional resources, and an index. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards.
My Teen Health and Safety: Teens and STDs book has been published by Reference Point Press. It will be available in August 2018.
Here’s an overview: Many teens are hesitant to talk about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), but it is important to discuss these health issues openly in order to treat them and improve the lives of people affected by them. This book explores the causes of this health issue, how it affects teens, and the ways in which teens can protect themselves and get help.
It is listed on Amazon.com but is currently unavailable.
